Why Practice Breathwork?
Most humans don’t pay much attention to how they breathe. It happens naturally without any interference from us, right?
That’s the problem…but it’s also an opportunity.
How you breathe may be the single most important factor in your current health status and the quality of your life. Doctors who study breathing say most of us do it inadequately—leading to negative health outcomes like heart disease, cancer, and diabetes (to name just a few). Research shows how we breathe is directly related to our physical and mental well-being. Surprisingly, the leading indicators of how long you’ll live and how healthy you’ll be are not genetics, diet, or exercise, as you might think. They are lung capacity and endothelium function.
The good news is both of these can be significantly improved now by practicing a few simple, yet life altering, breathing exercises.
Yes—changing how you breathe will make your life better. And even more impressive: you’ll know and feel this as truth after just one class.

Artie R.
My wife found it in the College catalogue and gave it a try.
I audited the class one morning and was immediately hooked. John’s
straightforward instruction mixed with his deep scientific knowledge of breath
and the body keeps me looking forward to the next session.
I’m in my 3rd semester and I plan on continuing indefinitely.
John “Nitric” Norton has breathed new energy into my body.
